Totally new here, but would love to get in contact with Marlin and other "Minne" boat folks. Been a lover of sails in a storm...from my days near Detroit Lakes, living near White Bear after back from S.E. Asia in '69 and training at HCMC, working with wrcedar and West Systems epoxy...radical hull design now finishing "bullet proof" sea kayak with windsurfer sails...My first experience in the '50's on an X boat from Johnson Brothers was a near drowning "turtle" in a sudden storm...woke up an hour later with rope burns around my neck ! On shore, luckily, but only the third of my "near death" experiences. Anyway...LOVE the Pacific NW now, and the coastlines and winds....anyone interested in the radical (proven successful by model) hull design...write me. Going for the copyright for hull design...then give it away....I don't need the money.
No BS here..........Tim
but, I do believe light is right, but gotta be happy on the top !! And be happy to give up comfort for speed !!
