The water level is expected to go to an all-time low this year on White Bear Lake, just 17 minutes away from my home in Shoreview, Minnesota. That's awful news for Persistence, which usually gets at least some time sailing on this lake. Last year, I talked with sailboaters and asked how they managed with levels 3 to 4 feet lower than average and lots of weeds. "We just look for a patch of clear water and go sailing!" they replied.
